When The Sun Turns Cold

It's time to go back home

It's time for the sun to lay cold

It's time sleep takes over all strife

It's time love settles

In hearts of the wandering souls

Let me borrow a pinch of the peach and red

Let me slather a dash of hue that's gold

Before the sun goes down and turns cold.

The Kiss Of Chaos

I stand unmoved; with feet heavy and inert,

Words ringing in my ear; not so euphonious though,

Tears welled up in my eyes; they resist from trickling down.

I desperately yearn to run away,

Shut myself; shut everyone else up,

Shout out loud

And cut the leash of all stares.

Fear hovers over me; my thoughts gagged by demons,

Demons of my own making.

The devil smiles from above; that brazen smile,

And kisses me. The kiss of chaos; dark and drowning.

My blood freezes, numbs all veins,

And,

In vain goes my efforts to thaw the frozen.

I peer at hope being swept away

Like being pulled into the pits of the dunes.

I disdain the thought of giving in

And collect all brawn.

Straighten my feet, stand sturdy,

Proclaim my credo inside my head.

Not this hour,

Not this day; nor in times to come,

Is fear gonna triumph and see me fail.

Let there be the mess of callousness,

For, fear of the fear is ephemeral.

I am, all but darkness,

I am, all but weakness,

I am, all but a fiasco.

"Z" Is For "Zap" #atozchallenge

Goodbyes;

They always make me go down on my knees,

With stomach full of unease,

And the silent storm of emotions rising

Against the backward pull that are pretty much enticing.

With zapping up of the challenge of April,

I recall what had gone into the grill.

Started with staring at the Azure sky

And running to the Bastion,

Appreciated virtuous over the Charlatans,

And praising the Dawn.

Encumbered by the mental blocks,

Still went hand in hand with Felicity,

Faced challenges with Gumption

Yet Halcyon was the month.

Impromptu visits of dear ones made merry,

Together we enjoyed many Jaunts.

Old memories re- Kindled,

But kept away nuisance from Lurking around,

Missed Maa a lot, 
With Nostalgia hovering over,

When love went into Oblivion.

Meditation with Placid mind was relieving,

While keeping love Quiescent felt wise.

Mind Resonating feelings of the heart,

And Serendipity played the magic,

When we met Trekkers from Arctic.

You suddenly usurped the realm of my peace,

But the nobel Virtuoso came to my rescue

I learnt life was Wonderful, when by the mooring,

The Xebec  found the moon mesmerizing

But, it's You that I am smitten by
Nevertheless, Zapping it up for now,
Oh Darling April! Today, I do bow.

The above picture is of Sunrise depicting the end of one day leads to a better and brighter sunrise with better perspectives in life. And we should never loose hope and stick to optimism, come what may.

I am super excited that I did start at "A" and could stay till "Z". Wow! This seems to me as a dream. An unbelievable one of-course. :)  I am glad that I could get this far.

This is for You; Like I had promised to do,

To write about you, and how you linger,

In my thoughts,

My dreams,

My wishes,

And in my whims.

Like sunshine after the rain,

Like fragrance of shower in my mane.

Like freshly ground coffee in chilly winter nights,

Like spectra of colors unfurled from whites.

Like the laughter which was long forgotten,

Like the softness of silk cotton.

I beam at your tender touch,

And love your smile so much.

The ocean of your love is boundless,

Makes me emotional as my heart rattles.

You look into my eyes with absolute affection,

In your words, I find happiness’ reflection.

I dream of traveling to the northern lights,

Crossing the history of castles and knights.

Yes Darling!

The Mediterranean seemed puffed up;

Raising the tempest,

And waves hitting the xebec,

Across it’s walls.

Little Charlotte recoiled beneath the sheets;

At corner of the cubbyhole,

Resisting the upheaval,

To not upset her merry soul.

Dearest old uncle captain;

Came to her rescue,

Pulling Charlotte out of the dark

Holding opera on the deck

And doing a burlesque.

There she was;

The merriest and the prettiest,

Chortled and danced around,

Far went the gale, indeed far away.

Having rounded of their touring;

Back in the blue lagoon,

The xebec lay by the mooring,

And Charlotte sat by the bay,

Waiting for a peek of the moon.

On this almost survival day;

Makes me wonder of my brawn,

To sustain through this challenge,

Gruelling and compelling that was,

Missed days,

Lagged behind,

Never settled on for surrender.

Dear life;

Give me the might to face you in such,

That even death shall comprehend,

That perseverance triumphs,

Through all agony,

Distress,

And qualms.

You are wonderful dear life,

And so is love.
Such overwhelming,
Has been my journey with you,
Somedays seemed ambiguous,
Some absolute,
Some cheerful,
And some filled with despondency.
Yet I salute;
And shall color you happy
You are wonderful, dear life.

They met, they parted;

From strangers to acquaintances,

And back to strangers again.

Days passed on to being weeks,

Weeks to months

And never did they cross any bylane.

He never lost sight of;

The moment she had looked at him,

And the moment she looked away,

The moment when she was there,

And the moment she wasn’t.

He craved for the unanswered;

Reason behind her ignorance,

And the silence of her eyes,

Reason behind her half-done smiles,

And truth behind the buoyant lies.

One thing he was positive;

About her wanting to see him,

Her desire to be with him,

The gladness in her smiles when around him,

Made him pace towards her.

Serendipity it was;

The day they met,

And today is the day;

She wrapped in his arms,

Smiling overtly without conundrum,

Confessing their love.

From strangers to lovers;

They sauntered a long way.

Love is magical,

It definitely makes it’s own course,

Oscillating across wins and lessons.

Quiescently though

Trust me sweetheart;

Love shall prevail,

And shall reach the smiles

Making way

Through the tunnels dark,

Swimming across the ocean of tears.
